Women in Aviation adds 13 new scholarships

Thirteen new scholarships have been added to the roster to be awarded at the 22nd Annual Women in Aviation International Conference, held next year in Reno, Nevada, on Feb. 24-26, 2011. Jeppesen for LSA and experimental pilots

Jeppesen introduced at AirVenture several avionics data solutions for light sport and experimental aircraft original equipment manufacturer (OEM) providers, including Advanced Flight Systems, Dynon Avionics, Garmin and MGL Avionics. FAA finalizes re-registration rule

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In an effort to create a more accurate aircraft registration database, the FAA is requiring re-registration of all civil aircraft over the next three years and renewal every three years after that. Lindbergh Electric Aircraft Prizes awarded

Flying motorcycle company wins Wolf Aviation Grant

MotoPOD LLC was recently awarded a grant from The Wolf Aviation Fund. The company has developed a patent-pending belly pod that allows pilots to carry a street-legal motorcycle beneath their airplanes.
