Parc Aviation is currently accepting applications for the position of Director for Line Engineering on behalf of a new client. The Director for Line Engineering will have day to day operational responsibility for the smooth and efficient running of technical activities for the airline's fleet of over 30 aircraft. This fleet is expected to grow significantly over the course of 2010.

The ideal candidate will meet the following minimum requirements:

* Degree in Engineering, major in Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics or equivalent.
* Proven Line Management experience within a major international carrier.
* Proven experience in Commercial Aviation Engineering.
* Experience in both commercial turbo-prop and A320 operations
* Previous experience as a post-holder.
* Experience in a LCC or MRO environment is preferred.
* Proven analytical skills in reliability analysis and a strong record on technical performance improvement
* The candidate would need to be approved by the local regulatory authorities.

Work experience in Aviation Planning, Technical Services and Quality will be an added advantage.
